Our Story

Bright Matter Co. is more than a coffee company, it’s a movement rooted in connection, creativity, and community. Our story begins with Trinity Trelstad, the founder of Bright Matter Co., who started her journey in hospitality as a barista. There, she discovered the power of connection through coffee: that even the smallest gesture of serving a warm cup in the morning, can leave a lasting impact on someone’s day. Trinity went on to spend her career in the food & beverage industry, ultimately becoming a Food & Beverage Director for a renowned hotel, before deciding to bring her vision to life: a mission-driven coffee company built for community, creativity, and connection.
